ABOUT ME

I am grateful to have an incredibly rich, artistic life and I love creating and collaborating.

Over my 20+ year acting career, riding the ebb and flow of the entertainment industry, I've appeared all over network television and - thank you acting gods! - in numerous commercials. Credits include roles on Shondaland's For The People, Criminal Minds, True Blood, and NCIS. Also a voice over artist, I've voiced major campaigns with FOX, TNT, and the NFL and multiple national campaigns. Unique film and MOW credits include Scream of the Bikini (Best Supporting Actress Nominee-Maverick Movie Awards), The Hunt for the Labyrinth Killer for Lifetime directed by Hanelle Culpepper, and popular indie horror shorts, Dollface and The Sound of Fear.  I've also starred in over 30 stage productions across the country.

Throughout my career, I've also had the honor of teaching.

University of Washington, The Shakespeare Project, Voices Unheard with Greenway Arts Alliance, Sacred Fools' Theatre Camp, and, of course, private coaching. I currently teach a bevy of courses at College of the Canyons and Azusa Pacific University.  I've coached and directed people of all ages and backgrounds.  I love sharing my "in the trenches" experience with my students and clients. I know how to help and guide you because I've been there and I'm in the trenches with you going to audition after audition. After many years, I've realized to thrive in this business you have to maintain artistry--an audition is still a small piece of art! How do we to make it shine and change the room? Believe me, that's what the room wants to see!

"If you learn, teach, if you get, give." - Maya Angelou.

Exactly. Motherhood, socio-politcal climate, certainly a myriad of reasons led me to this question: How can I use my skills as an artist to help others? Teaching/coaching is certainly one way. Inspire others to use their artistry for change. Yes. In the Fall of 2016, I co-created and now direct and produce an on-going theatre action called WE THE PEOPLE for Sacred Fool's Theater Co. here in Hollywood, CA where I am also the founding administrator of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.  WE THE PEOPLE specifically illuminates the experiences of LA's diverse community in today's social and political turmoil while raising funds for related non- profits. It's the most fulfilling and important art I've ever made.
